Principles into practice

37 points. A real accountability model.

DAA Principles are operationalised through a 37-point principles checklist and supported by DAA’s Accountability Framework. Market-level accountability is delivered through local self-regulatory partnerships.

India groundwork

A formal agreement with DSCI forms part of the programme’s India groundwork. Operational arrangements will develop with the market rollout.

Self-regulation and law

Complements regulation. Preserves innovation.

AdChoices complements national data protection frameworks, including India’s DPDP Act. It provides a globally recognised self-regulatory framework to assist organisations in demonstrating responsible data practices alongside statutory obligations.

Participation complements, but does not replace, an organisation’s legal or compliance responsibilities.
